Rose Hall Great House
Located directly across from MAIN STREET ROSE HALL, this 6,600-acre plantation dates to 1746 and was a rich sugar estate ruled by the then bourgeoise of Jamaica. Rose Hall is a Jamaican Georgian plantation house now run as a historic house museum.
Thought to be one of the country's most impressive plantation great houses, it had fallen into ruins by the 1960s, but was then restored.
