Our Neighbours

Rose Hall Great House Image

Rose Hall Great House

Located directly across from MAIN STREET ROSE HALL, this 6,600-acre plantation dates to 1746 and was a rich sugar estate ruled by the then bourgeoise of Jamaica. Rose Hall is a Jamaican Georgian plantation house now run as a historic house museum.

Thought to be one of the country's most impressive plantation great houses, it had fallen into ruins by the 1960s, but was then restored.

Cinnamon Hill Great House

Now, the only remnants left of this large empire is the 17th century Rose Hall Greathouse, 18th century Cinnamon Hill Greathouse and the 18th Century Aqueduct ruins.

Also nearby are the White Witch and Cinnamon Hill Golf Courses.
